DGS takes the protection of personal data very seriously. Please read here how we handle your personal data.

Definitions

a. Privacy Policy: this Privacy Policy;
b. User: any user of the Website;
c. Controller: DGS;
d. Website: the website under www.dgs-ps.com.

1. General

1.1. This Privacy Policy describes how DGS processes the personal data of its Users in a general sense.
1.2. The personal data processed by DGS includes:
– First name;
– Last name;
– E-mail adress;
– Telephone number;
– And other personal data provided by the User in writing to DGS.

2. Collection and Use of Personal Data

2.1. DGS collects personal data from a User when the User has submitted this personal data to DGS via the Website, for example by contacting DGS or signing up for the newsletter.

2.2. DGS will use this personal data for the purpose for which the User has provided the personal data to DGS. This can be for the execution of a contract to which the data subject is a party.

2.3. In addition, DGS may use the personal data to inform its Users about DGS services which might be of interest to the User concerned. If the User objects to this, he or she may unsubscribe from the newsletter or contact DGS via the opt-out option in the newsletter.

3. Minors

3.1. In some cases, DGS explicitly asks for consent to use certain personal data. If the User is under 16 years of age, the User needs the consent of his or her parent or guardian to provide the personal data to DGS. In this case, the parent or guardian can also always correct or delete the data provided to DGS.

4. Transfer to third parties

4.1. DGS will not pass on the personal data of its Users to third parties unless:

4.1.1. The transfer is made to a processor engaged by DGS for the purposes enumerated in this Privacy Policy; or

4.1.2. DGS is required by law to transfer personal data to competent authorities.

5. Referrals

5.1 This Website may contain links to third party websites, for example in the form of a hyperlink, banner or button. DGS is not responsible for compliance with privacy laws by these third parties.

6. Amendment/Deletion of Personal Data

6.1. The User has the right to inspect, correct, supplement, delete, move and block his/her personal data, in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act and, as of 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation.

6.3. DGS will endeavour to respond within 4 weeks to a User’s request to review, correct, supplement, delete, move and block the personal data relating to the User. This may involve costs for the User. Before complying with a request as referred to in this article, DGS will inform the User about these costs.

6.4 A refusal to comply with the request referred to in paragraph 1 of this article will be reasoned.

6.5. Users may unsubscribe from the Newsletter by sending an e-mail to DGS.

7. Storage period

7.1. DGS will retain Personal Data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which Personal Data is processed, unless DGS is required by law to retain Personal Data for a longer period.

8. Security

8.1. DGS has implemented legal, technical and organisational measures to secure the personal data of Users against loss or unlawful processing.

9. Changes to the privacy policy

9.1. DGS reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy. Any amendment will be posted on this page. DGS therefore advises the User to check this page regularly to see if any changes have been made. The current Privacy Policy was updated on 1 April 2018.

10. Applicable law

10.1 Any disputes arising from this Privacy Policy shall be governed by Dutch law.

11. Google Analytics

11.1 DGS uses Google Analytics. The User’s IP address is anonymised and no data is shared with Google. DGS has signed a processing agreement with Google. The anonymization of Google Analytics data means that DGS may place these Analytics cookies without consent. The User is informed about these cookies by a cookie banner that is shown until acceptance.
