Automatically palletising boxes and crates
Palletising boxes and crates requires efficient and versatile solutions. At DGS, we offer palletising robots specifically designed for this task. Our robots meet the highest food safety standards and can handle various types of boxes and crates to meet the diversity of food producers. Additionally, with Twaka’s software, you can trace and track the location of products on pallets.
Our robots are capable of palletising crates and boxes simultaneously, allowing one robot to serve multiple production lines and saving valuable space. The crates or boxes are formed in predetermined patterns. Moreover, we effortlessly adapt customer patterns as they change over time, and our software enables reconfiguration for complex tasks such as multipick and variable sizes.
By palletising per layer instead of individual products, a smooth and controlled movement is ensured, minimizing damage to the products and increasing production. Choose DGS for flexible palletising processes and high-quality solutions.

Adding spacers for cooling and freezing
At DGS, in addition to our standard palletising systems, we also offer the option to automatically add spacers. These spacers ensure an even distribution of cold air across the entire pallet, speeding up the freezing process. Our palletising robot places a spacer between the pallets after each layer, creating space between the products to allow proper circulation of cooling and freezing air. This not only halves the freezing process time but also ensures good product quality and saves up to 26% on energy costs.
Stable end pallet
After the pallet is fully stacked, there are several additional steps to prepare it for transport. Strapping, weighing, and labeling the pallet can be fully automated, ensuring a stable pallet and reducing labor costs. Strapping ensures maximum stability and can be done both lengthwise and widthwise of the product. Next, the pallet is weighed, and finally, it is labeled for complete traceability, with integration options for our ERP software Twaka.
