The DGS Robot Spacer Handling Solution moves a spacer from a pick position and places it on a drop position. The DGS-RSH is used – among other application – in combination with other modules to remove spacers from layers of boxed frozen product.

A separate robot is used for high capacities, and this functionality can be combined in some cases. For example, it is possible for the depalletization of boxes by the DGS-RDB. In this case, the robot carries out several functions, which does result in reduced capacity. Mechanical grippers or vacuum grippers are used for hoisting, depending on the situation.
