DGS’s fencing makes handling more efficient and is known for important advantages, such as:

  • Less stress thanks to lower noise levels
  • Better working conditions thanks to the lower noise levels
  • Easy to clean
  • Durable

Fencing will make handling more efficient and help reduce stress and injuries. It’s important to manage the animals to minimize stress and the chance of injury to themselves and their cattle. Animals respond to the way they are handled. When moving animals, the position and movement of the handler is very important. Therefore, the fencing should be positioned in a way that cattle are funneled into the corral as they are moved.

It’s important to work carefully when processing animals. Animals can be worked rapidly enough when they are handled skillfully and gently in a properly designed handling facility. Efficient and gentle handling of animals is not only best for the animals, but it is also essential for the best meat quality.

DGS produces cattle stall fencing from heavy, hot-dip galvanized steel columns sandwiched around thick synthetic sheeting. The fencing is partly opened for use as an emergency exit. Thanks to the synthetic sheets, the noise levels are reduced significantly, resulting in less stress for the animals.

Smooth operation also ensures considerably faster cleaning. Stainless steel columns are optional. The highest cattle rail has a height of 1800 mm and the highest pig rail has a height of 1250 mm. Door heights for cattle are 1500 mm and 1250 mm for pigs.
