Automated palletising

Discover the versatility of the DGS palletising robot, capable of palletising a wide range of products including crates, boxes, cans, and frozen blocks. Our robots can palletise crates and boxes simultaneously, enabling one robot to serve multiple production lines and save valuable space.

The robot palletiser forms layers in predefined patterns and then palletises them layer by layer. By palletising per layer instead of individual products, our robot provides smooth and controlled movement, preventing damage to the products while increasing production. If customer patterns change over time, we effortlessly adjust these patterns. Our customizable palletising software allows for quick reconfiguration for complex tasks such as multipick, various sizes, layer formation, and positioning, providing versatility in palletising operations.

    Spacers for cooling and freezing

At DGS, in addition to our standard palletizing systems, we also offer the option to automatically add spacers. These spacers ensure even distribution of cold air across the entire pallet, expediting the freezing process. Our palletizing robot places a spacer between the pallets after each layer, creating space between the products and allowing the cold air to circulate effectively. This not only halves the freezing process time but also guarantees good product quality and up to 26% energy cost savings.

    Depalletising with Vision Technology

Depalletising poses no challenge for DGS’s robotic palletiser. With advanced technologies, pallets can be automatically unloaded or repacked, including options for Vision camera technology. The benefits are similar to those of palletising: increased efficiency, consistency, flexibility, safety, and quality.

AI-vision systems enable object detection during depalletising by identifying the position and orientation of boxes, and detecting damaged or missing boxes for quality control. The DGS robotic palletiser with AI-vision can achieve a capacity of at least 1250 boxes per hour by handling entire layers instead of individual pieces.

    Traceability within the pallet

To gain more control over your product and production process, integration with our software package Twaka is possible. This ensures traceability and the data-driven approach contributes to an optimised process. Labelling and scanning of pallet layers provides insight within your production by providing real-time data on product movements and stock levels. In addition, traceability contributes to the food safety and quality of your products by knowing exactly where a product is located.

    Complete logistics solutions

At DGS, we offer not only innovative palletizing solutions but also complete internal logistics for both pre and post palletising. Our extensive range includes conveyors, crate and box elevators, pallet conveyors, and more. These systems seamlessly integrate with our palletising robots for efficient material flow. Whether it’s transporting products to the palletising robot, moving finished pallets to the warehouse, or internally transferring products between different production lines, with DGS, you are assured of a comprehensive and integrated internal logistics solution.
